The Series Vision course is a comprehensive overview describing how to build and edit an aesthetically concise and visually cohesive fine art portfolio. The student will learn how to identify and develop visual ideas and mold them into a coherent vision. From there Les will focus on how equipment, materials and presentation can be used to develop and enhance the student's vision and ultimately the final portfolio.

The course will cover:

  1. Choosing the right equipment for the job
  2. The Expressive Image:
    How and when to apply DOF, different focal lengths, time exposures,camera placement, setting up a scene, lighting types, times to shoot and more...
  3. Editing before, during and after the shot
  4. Printing options and techniques
  5. Mounting, presentation and final edits

Who should take this course?

The course is intended for all photographers who are interested in producing portfolios for the purpose of presenting their work to galleries and art collectors. It is particularly helpful to those who are new to photography and or those who need help developing their many visual ideas into one or more polished and professional portfolios.
